Joseph Garner Norwood

Joseph Garner “Joe” Norwood, age 82 of Minor Hill passed away January 18, 2018. He was a member of Minor Hill First Baptist Church, a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge 101 F & Am in Pulaski, and an Order of the Eastern Star Past Worthy Patron. He was born May 22, 1935 to the late Nathan Garner and Lois Winona Sills Norwood. He was also preceded in death by his son, Martin Norwood, and his daughter, Cindy Norwood Knapp. Survivors include his wife Grace Norwood of Minor Hill, his son, Joey Norwood and wife Beth of Huntsville, his brother Ray Norwood and wife Jane of Ardmore, his grandsons, Brandon Norwood, Nathan Garner Norwood II, and Nathan Knapp, his granddaughter Calli Jo McDill and husband Tim, and his great grandson Ethan McDill.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Norwood Cemetery at Minor Hill.
