Littie Marie Carpenter

She was born in Giles County, TN on 02-18-1914, her parents were the late James Terry and Cassie West Newton, she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Carpenter, sons, Richard Carpenter and Lester Newton, and a great granddaughter, Anna Grace Fourakre.

Funeral services will be held on Friday,12-30-2011, at 11AM, at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in New Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to New Zion Baptist Church Building Fund at 1595 Sumac Road, Pulaski, TN 38478 or Relay For Life at the Bank of Frankewing, 1671 West College Street, Pulaski, TN 38478.

Survivors are: sons, Henry Carpenter and wife Theresa of Brick Church Community, Laton Newton and wife Joyce of Pulaski, TN, daughter, Barbara Parsons and husband Edward of Pulaski, TN, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.
