Mrs. Case was born January 31 1920 to Louie Elmo and Claudia McConnice Case. She a retired bookkeeper for the University of Alabama, a member of Lawrenceburg First United Methodist Church, a member of the Travel Club and traveled extensively around the world. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hughes Cheatwood and her sister Marjorie Talent.
Visitation will be Saturday February 9, 2013 from 12 until 1 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Prospect Cemetery with interment to follow.
Survivors include her sister-in-law Barbara Cheatwood and her family. Several cousins also survive.
