He was born in Giles County, TN, on May 20, 1928, a retired farmer, his parents were the late Thomas Arlo and Annie Velma Gibson Thurman, preceded in death by brothers, W. A. and Jerry Thurman, sister, Doris Fry.
Visitation will be on Saturday, 12-6-2014, from 4 until 6PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, 12-7-2014, at 2PM at the Lynnwood Cemetery.
Survivors are: wife, Annie Pearl Thurman of Lynnville, TN, step daughter, Judy Lynn Johnson Counts of Lynnville, TN, 2 step grandsons, Jason Ray and Jonathan Counts, several nieces and nephews.
