Miss Bowen was born October 17, 1941 to George William and Lottie Reasoner Bowen, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Claudia Pompila and Georgia Mae Simmons.
Visitation will be Friday January 3, 2014 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday January 4, 2014 with interment in Lawrenceburg Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include one brother George Bowen, Jr. of Mt Juliet, two sisters Peggy Jean Semanek of Prospect, and Sue Putman of Ardmore, several nieces and nephews also survive.
