Mrs. Griffin was the daughter of the late Arthur Wilson and Maggie Walls Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Wayne Carter and grandson Russell Carter.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Monday November 1, 2010 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
Survivors include her sons Jackie Carter and wife Tammy of Pulaski, Tony Carter and Terry Carter both of Prospect, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and special friends Evelyn Shackleford and Bonnie Appleton.
