Mivian Myra Dawes, age 90. Died on Sunday, 11-14-2010, at her home in Pulaski, TN.
She was born in Stella, TN on March 20, 1920, retired school teacher with 35 years of teaching, her parents were the late Frank W. and Carrie Mae Edmundson Barnes, she was preceded in death by daughter, Jill Dawes Dunavant.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 11/17/2010, at 11:00AM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Stella Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, 11/16/2010, from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to a Giles County School of your choice.
Survivors are: Husband, Tillman Dawes of Pulaski, TN, grandchildren, Jake and Joseph Dunavant.
