Mr. Drake was born November 5, 1931 in the Pigeon Roost Community to Newton W. and Ethel Brown Hayes Drake. He was a US Army Veteran, retired truck driver and preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings.
Visitation will be Friday August 8, 2014 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday August 9, 2014 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in New Zion Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
Survivors include his wife Jewel Drake, sons Daniel Drake and wife Kim, Eric Condrey and wife Tina all of Pulaski, daughters Kay Bowman and husband Jerry of Grant, AL., Gay Rose of Pulaski, Laura Kirian and husband Richard of Cross Plains, TX., fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
