

Ricky was born December 3, 1952 to the late Otis Virgil and Ethel Irene Gowan Pierce. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Doris Taylor and his brothers, Larry and Roger Pierce.
Survivors include his wife Melissa Jones Pierce of Pulaski, his daughters Kristen Meadows and husband Jared, and Katie Eubank, both of Minor Hill, his brother, Wendell Pierce of Pulaski, his grandchildren, Barrett and Kamryn Meadows, several nieces and nephews, including Wayne "Pee Wee" Taylor, Brandon Ryon, Willie Boyatt, and Rodney Pierce, and a host of very special friends.
Ricky served in the Marines from 1970 to 1973. He was a proud Veteran and served his country during the Vietnam War.
He was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 60 and the Pulaski Elks Lodge #1872. He attended New Providence Church of Christ.
He spent 33 years at Stewart's Tire and retired from the Giles County Highway Department. Everyone who knew Ricky felt his big heart and his giving nature.
He loved his family and many, many friends. He loved the outdoors, riding his Harley, Golfing, and he was a huge fan of UT Football.

Visitation with the family will be held 3:00 until 7:00 pm Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Burial with Military Honors will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Maplewood Cemetery.
