He was born in Carthage. TN on January 23, 1931, served in the US Army during the Korean War.
His parents were the late Carter and Ora Dillehay Swann, preceded in death by brothers, Billy, Edward and Carter Swann, Jr.
Visitation will be on Saturday, 10-19-2013, from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, 10-20-2013, at 2PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Giles Memory Garden.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors are: wife, Frances Helen Swann of Pulaski, TN, son LaDon Swann of Mobile, AL, stepsons, Tim Potts of Huntsville, AL and Tony Potts of Pulaski, TN, daughters, Lisa Swann, Mitzi Delker and Betsy Swann, step daughter, Donna Wheeler of Pulaski, TN, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 4 step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
