Robert Glyn Glover

Robert was born September 22, 1935 in the Goodsprings community to Roy M. and Rosie Mae Byrd Glover. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Denbo Scrap Materials. Robert loved spending time with family and friends, fishing and boating on the Tennessee river, and watching old western movies on TV. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Rosie Mae Glover; sister Laura Mae Hobbs; and his wife Mary Ann Glover.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10 am Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Giles Memory Gardens with interment to follow.

Survivors include his daughter Glenda Carvell (Keith); grandchildren Katherine “Katie” LouAllen (John Thomas), Brice Carvell (Claire); brother F.C. “Buddy” Glover; special friend/caregiver Cindy Redus; and many other special family members and friends.
