He was born in the Pisgah Community on September 6, 1920. Served in the Naval Air Force during World War II, preceded in death by his parents, John Lee and Mura Mable Petty Parsons, wife, Jeane Parsons and son Gary Lee Parsons.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, 10-16, 2014, at 3:00PM in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Blooming Grove United Methodist Church.
Survivors are: son, Larry Lynn Parsons of Pulaski, TN, daughter, Melody Jeane Parsons Hatfield of Pulaski, TN, daughter in law, Alice Sue King Parsons of Pulaski, TN, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
