"Good-byes" by: Judie Stewart
In reality - "good-byes" are never very easy and yet they are probably the most emotional words ever said. They carry with them all the good times, bad times, and in-between times, all within that one lousy word. If love has a climax I feel it must come with ght good-bye. In one fleeting second all the love of its lifetime bursts open for all to see, leaving the beautiful trails of the explosion as its memories. Memories are not so bad- al the good times remain and all the bad bring smiles. The only bad effect of memories is having to live in its loneliness. Good-bye, sweet dreams. By: Judie Stewart

Grandpa, we miss you so very much already. It is so hard to believe how the years have flown by, it seems like it wasn't that long ago when you married my mom and you became known as "Grandpa" to my girls. For the last 16 years, you have been a part of our family and we will always carry memories of you with us... from the practical jokes which you pulled so well, to the times when you and my mom would tuck my daughters into bed when they spent the night on the farm and you would all say bed-time prayers, to the amazing meals you would cook so we could have family dinners at the dining room table, to the relationship we had even after my mother passed away. For all of this, I am thankful to have been able to say you were more than just a step-dad, you were "Grandpa"! With love, Always, Michelle, Ashley & Tiffany.

I am attaching a photo copy of a poem my mother wrote about saying goodbye... I know without a doubt, she would have wanted me to share this today.

I will miss Tom working with us at Saliba. He was a very easy going and likeable person. The last time he was here, about two weeks ago, we shared some jokes and laughs together…a good memory. It’s my prayer that God will comfort his family and friends in the days ahead.

Tom was a great guy. I will miss him. I met him 10 years ago & he was always the best to me. I know he is in a better place & I will never forget him.
