Wayne Stutts Sr.

He was born on December 13, 1946 and grew up in Williamson Co., TN to the late Odes Franklin Stutts and Rubye Elizabeth Talley Stutts. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Stutts was a retired Southern Baptist Preacher and a Transmission Specialist Mechanic.

Survivors include his sons, Gary Wayne Stutts, Jr. and Barry Stutts and wife Brooke, his daughter, Tammy Stutts, his step-daughter, Mindy Burdette, his step-son, Stacy Burdette, his wife, Trena Stutts, his brothers, Mr. & Mrs. Terry Stutts, Mr. & Mrs. Bill Stutts, Mr. & Mrs. Sonny Stutts, and Mr. & Mrs. Keith Stutts, and his step-sister, Scottie Deason. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that affectionately called him Poppy and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Stutts was a friend, mentor, and confidant to many. He was loved and will truly be missed.

His Memorial Service is scheduled for September 12, 2020 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. and will be officiated by his nephew Jason Grenko.
