

Annie was employed by Sun Bulb Company for many years and Publix. She was the owner of A&B Seafood in Arcadia during the late 1970s. She was a wonderful cook, loved gardening, camping and fishing. Above all she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Keith (Julia) Sowell, Sr. of Arcadia, Florida, Randy (Barb) Sowell of Englewood, Florida; step-children Faye Midgett Spahn and Butch Midgett of Arcadia, Florida; sister Marie Szamlewski of Dade City, Florida; son- in-law Skipper Gause of Wauchula, Florida; grandchildren; Keith Sowell, Jr., Gary Dean Farabee, Amanda (Tazz) Ryals and Amber Sowell; great- grandchildren; Lily, Gary (little man), Colton and Cianna; and many beloved extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dallas Ray Sowell and Harold Midgett; daughter Patty Sue Gause; brothers Grover Stringer, Jim Stringer, J.T. Stringer and C.D. Stringer and sisters Alvilda Caden, Minnie Boyette and Vivian Ygleasis.
A Graveside Service for Annie will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11am at Oak Ridge Cemetery; 601 N. Johnson Ave., Arcadia, FL 34266 with Pastor Jerry Atkins officiating.
