Cathy grew up the oldest of six children and carried those lessons throughout her life. Cathy built a life centered on her family. She adored her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed doing crafts, going to kids' football and baseball games, and sleepovers.
She leaves behind her daughters, Turia Hendrickson and Ashley Chandler; sisters, Bambi Duhon and Stephanie Smith; brothers, Scott Smith and Mark Smith; grandchildren, Cole and Claudia Midgett, Cade Midgett, Tyler Hysell, Zane Hendrickson, Callie Midgett, Blake Milton and Ashlynne Chandler; great grandchildren, Caylee and Cole Midgett, Jr., River Smith, Nova Gardner, Jade Milton and Natalina Milton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Floyd Smith and Mary Delle Johnson; husband, Donald W. Watson; brother, Dennis Smith; nephew, Clayton J. Rousell; and sons-in-law, Josh Hendrickson, William R. Chandler, and William W. Persinger, Jr.
