Mami, what can I say, you were a very unique woman! Through the years you have taught us to be strong women and have always been there when we needed a helping hand.

First and foremost, I want to thank you for being our mom.

I have fond memories of walks in the park across from our old apartment and you taking us to the movies, as well as those hot days at the Bayonne swimming pool (even though I didn't know how to swim, LOL)

I thank you for the roof you played in both my life and my children's lives. You inspire me to be the best that I can be.

Living together this past year has been very rewarding for me. Johnny and I have enjoyed our evening dinners with you and watching your favorite television shows - Walker Texas Ranger, JAG, Abbott, & Costello, to name a few.

I will cherish our little get ways with you, being my partner in crime and our little Dairy Queen moments (oh how you loved your vanilla ice cream).

I am truly going to miss you, but I know that you are finally at peace. Tell everyone I say hi! Until we meet again, Mami. I love you, Hugs and kisses.

Wiwa was always a very loveable person and was always glad to see Angellica and me. She loved when we did cartwheels and splits and backbends. She enjoyed it when I would paint her nails. I loved hearing her laugh and sing and I will miss her very, very, much.

To my Nena Línda,...
Words can not express what you mean to me. A part of me is extremely saddened that I will never hear you say "Stacio!" again, but I know you are at peace on your next journey. The legacy you left behind is a big one. Your great grandchildren are going to miss the times they colored with you or the times they sat with you watching the Andy Griffith Show.

When it comes to strength, there is no bigger example than you. Many say I get my strength and stubbornness from you. I remember writing you letters when I was away in the Army. The other day I found them! To reread those letters brought tears to my eyes.

I will never forget you, and neither will the family. Your legacy will live on and I promise we will make you proud. With all our love,.. We miss you!

My darling Mother in Law, a strong independent woman who worked all her life at Sabrett's in Jersey City. A woman who set a great example to her three daughters Millie, Sonia and Nilsa, grandmother to seven. May God have you in his Kingdom in Heaven with your loved ones. I will miss you dearly, your son in law Armando
