Danielle M. Caron of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away on August 22, 2025. Danielle was born on January 31, 1960, in Syracuse, NY, daughter of Raymond M. and Carol L. Caron. The family relocated to Buxton, Maine where Danielle graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 1978. Danielle found employment at Hannaford Brothers Co. advancing her way from part-time produce clerk to eventually managing several of the largest stores in the Hannaford Brothers chain at the Biddeford and Yarmouth Maine locations. As a dedicated Hannaford employee for 20+ years, Danielle received numerous awards including Store Manager of the year. Her last position at Hannaford Co. was Retail Specialist. Danielle eventually resigned from Hannaford to attend the School of Massage Therapy and ultimately established the Caron Center for Neuromuscular Care and through her hard work and dedication, the business became a great success.
Danielle was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and Chronic Lyme disease which restricted her ability to maintain the physical demands of the business. She relocated to Hawaii and remained there for 10 years, which was an incredible experience for her and soon became home to her and her two poodles, Atticus and Olina.
Danielle was also certified as an aircraft pilot following in the footsteps of her grandfather Maurice C. Caron. She was adventurous and frequently participated in skiing, hiking the mountains in Maine and the surrounding states, motorcycle riding, horseback riding and didn’t hesitate to attempt any new activities including becoming a very accomplished pianist. Danielle is preceded in death by her parents Raymond M. Caron and Carol L. Caron, grandparents Maurice C. Caron, Edith G. Caron, Sherman E. Davis and Dorothy Cable/Davis. Danielle is survived by sisters Michele A. Caron (Peter T. Bennett); Virginia L. Vigne (Richard), nephew Derick R. Vigne, step-niece Nicole D. Vigne (Dennis), step-nephew David K. Vigne and their children; beloved cousins from the Ashooh and Davis families.
