David Severson

David Wayne Severson, born September 12,1960 in Joliet Illinois to John and Marilyn (Stafford)Severson.Passed July 11th, 2023 at HealthPark Memorial in Ft Myers with his loving wife of 44 years by his side.Survived by 4 children Jeremy Severson of (Therese) of Illinois , Michelle Elmendorf (Jeff) of Illinois , Joshua Severson (Maryann) of Michigan and Matthew Severson of Texas . 13 grandchildren John Elmendorf, Joseph Elmendorf, Philip Elmendorf, Peter Elmendorf, Christopher Elmendorf, Anne Elemendorf, Rose Elmendorf, and baby boy (due in December). Millie Severson, Betty Severson, Hank Severson, Samantha Bernhoft (Chuck) and Johnna Bainter (Derek). And two great grandchildren Olivia Bernhoft and Murphy Bainter. Too many nieces and nephews to name. Preceding him in death were his father John A Severson, mother Marilyn (Stafford) Severson both sets of grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. David was employed at Southeastern Freight in Punta Gorda as a P & D delivery driver. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, sailing, kayaking, and spending time with the grand-children.
