David Michael Wintheiser, age 76, of Punta Gorda Florida passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025. David was born June 18, 1949 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Dorothy Austad and George Wintheiser.
David attended Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated in 1967. He served in the US Army during Vietnam. David was the CFO and owner of South Side Electric in Bloomington, Minnesota and was a Master Electrician. He loved to fish and hunt all over the world. David enjoyed relaxing on the lanai, reading a book, smoking a good cigar, golfing and playing with his dogs.
David is survived by his loving wife Linda of 58 years, his children Jordan (Stefanie) Wintheiser, Jennifer Wintheiser and Jessica Wintheiser, grandchildren Austin Wintheiser, Breven Reger and David Schoepf, brother Al Johnson, sisters Lezlie (Gary) Nelson and Micky Victor and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
