On Monday, March 8, 2021, Debra Anderson, loving wife, mother of three children, grandmother of six, passed away at the age of 61. Debra was born in Baltimore, Maryland but moved as a child to Southwest Florida where she attended Charlotte High School. She fell in love with and married her high school sweetheart, Greg Anderson at age 19, and the two recently celebrated their 41st Anniversary. Together they raised their three children Greg, Justin, and Mandy.
Debbi loved helping others and dedicated her career of service to helping others. She spent several years working with special needs children and later at the District Office. She worked for Charlotte County Public Schools for 30 years and ended her career as the Manager of Human Resources and Employee Benefits.
Debbi had a passion for reading, camping, playing games, and being with her family. Her ideal weekend would consist of all of her family coming over for a cook off or a quiet time camping in Avon Park playing Yahtzee on a picnic table under the oak trees. She truly preferred family time with her kids, grandkids, and close friends whenever she could.
