Donovan lived in Punta Gorda, Florida, raised by his loving active parents and guardians, Daniel and Allison Miller, alongside his sister, Alexis Wilson (Miller). He attended Auburn High School in Auburn, Alabama, where he was a dedicated student and active member of the football program. As a Tight End and Defensive End, Donovan cherished the camaraderie, competition, and excitement of Friday night football. Known for his positive attitude and selfless spirit, he was always ready to encourage teammates and lend a helping hand to those around him.
Following his graduation on May 22, 2026, Donovan began working for Garney Construction in the Tampa, Florida area as a general laborer. He took pride in working alongside others and enjoyed being part of a team-oriented environment.
Donovan found his greatest joy in spending time with family. Whether enjoying a day at the beach, exploring new restaurants, or simply sharing laughter in the living room, he treasured every moment with those he loved. He had a gift for finding the bright side of life and was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and, perhaps most of all, playfully teasing his sister Alexis and Daniel whenever the opportunity arose.
He is survived by his active parents and guardians, Daniel and Allison Miller; his biological parents, Denny and Angie Wilson; his siblings, Ashlyn Wilson, Arianna Daniels (Matt Daniels), Abbigail Wilson, Dakota Wilson, Anniston Wilson, Alexis Wilson (Miller), and Finley Miller; his grandparents, Walter and Joanne Culbreth, Eric Jason and April Daum, and Jeremie Miller; and his great-grandparents, Carolyn Jernigan, and Gerald and Barbara Miller. He is also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity.
Donovan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Ruby Wilson.
Although his time with us was far too brief, Donovan's compassion, laughter, and unwavering willingness to help others will leave a lasting impact on all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life is currently being planned. Service details will be announced at a later date.
