Duane Rolli was born on March 2, 1951 in Freeport, Illinois, to Floyd and Dorothy Rolli. He grew up on the family farm in Gratiot, WI.
He worked as a State Trooper for the Florida Highway Patrol for 32 years. During this time, he set the standard of excellence as a Homicide Investigator—protecting Florida’s roads and highways.
Duane Rolli was known for his quick humor, laughter and heart for Jesus. He enjoyed hunting, reading the Bible, telling stories, hugging his grandchildren and making fun of his favorite movies and shows. What mattered to him most was his faith in God and knowing that he would be with Jesus one day.
He is survived by his son Michael; daughter Tanya; son Bryan; daughter Heidi; his granddaughter Summer; granddaughter Willow; granddaughter Hannah; grandson JJ; granddaughter Madison; grandson Banyan; grandson Evan; grandson Quinn; grandson Mason; and his brother Don. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Julie; his granddaughter Niah; his father Floyd; his mother Dorothy; his brother Gerald; and his sister Carol.
A funeral was held on March 14 at 10:00 AM at Kays-Ponger & Uselton, Punta Gorda, FL.
