Edmund graduated from Cleveland State University with an Associates Degree and served in the Army in Germany for two years.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and expressed his creative nature through drawing and sketching.
Edmund founded Denver Wire Rope in 1984 which he managed for over 35 years.
Edmund is preceded in death by his son Gary Gubanich.
Edmund is survived by his loving wife Carol Gubanich (Hilkowski) of 66 years, his sons Robert Gubanich and Kenneth Gubanich and his brothers Paul Gubanich, Gerald Gubanich and brother-in-law Edward Hilkowski.
He also leaves behind six grandchildren; Jessica and Kevin, Matthew and Nathan, and McKenna and Michael and 8 great-grandchildren as well as numerous extended family members that will miss him dearly.
