Gared was a wonderful grandpa and loved spending his spare time with his grandchildren. He had a special relationship with each of them and they had their own nicknames and inside jokes. Of course, they were all his favorite too. He loved to tell stories about his life. He wanted to make sure that he had had an impact on their lives, and he most certainly left his mark, and he will be in all our hearts.
He is survived by his daughter, Jasmin Hicks (Matthew) and his grandchildren, Keira, Kyleigh, And Declan. In addition, he is survived by his sister Suzanne Taylor of Punta Gorda, and sister Cindy Cooper of Unadilla.
There will not be a service at this time. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Lung Association.
