Dad Haas was a good man. Having lost my father at the age of six I enjoyed so much the fatherly presence he had in my life. Although a relatively quiet man, I loved when he would tell stories, banter back-and-forth with others, share his knowledge & skills and especially those times when upon hearing something that amused him, would produce an exaggerated eye roll and utter a prolonged “GEEEEZZZZ” which made everyone around him laugh. You knew he was making fun of you but in the most kind and sweetest way. From the day I married into the family he made me feel welcome and it was an honor to be his daughter-in-law for 15 years. The fondest of memories I have is those times I would catch him glance at Mom Haas with just the smallest of smiles and full of love. I think all of us girls at one time or another always hoped for someone to look at us that way.

Rest in Heaven Dad Haas 💕

Hank was one of the warmest and friendliest members of our K of C Council. He was actively involved in all of our activities and was a person we sought for ideas and advice. My prayers to his family. Let us know how we can help
