Ina was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church for as long as I can remember. She use to clean and Iron the Acolyte Robes for the children and get them back for Sunday; She was a Chef and also cooked up special dishes in the kitchen. Ina was a tough lady just like my Mother, Mattie Mae Hughes. They were born when times were hard and they lived the best life they could. I had the honor of bringing her communion each month until covid hit; and enjoyed my talks with her and visits with her and her beloved three dogs. Ina will always be remembered for her directness and her heartfelt love of her family and the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.

Granny ,
I love you so much! This Christmas will be hard, the song little drummer boy was your favorite, you would sing it over and over again in the early morning hours .

Your love for animals was so great, even little bugs. I am sure you cute doggies miss you and wonder where you are, they were spoiled rotten.

I spent a many nights at your house, Little Stan and I loved your house so much we would stay together and cause all sorts of trouble... LOL there was nothing better then Granny night!!!!

Thank you for always being there for me, no matter what! Thank you for showing me what a hard worker is, thank you for the laughs, thank you for taking me to church and teaching me what “to do “ in church.

I love you so much. I’m so glad god blessed me with being your granddaughter.

Philip, Stan, Ella Jean and the entire Hendrickson family. So sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. As you know , I seen her several weeks ago and it brought back so many memories. I remember spending the night at the old place on Olympia Ave back when we were kids. Your mom really ruled the roost! She was a great lady and always worked her tail off to provide for her family. She will be missed by many and forgotten by none. May God bring you all peace during your loss. With love. Rick and Ann Pifer

Heartfelt thoughts, support and strength to all of you at this sad time. I know it is difficult right now, but your Mother is at peace and no longer in turmoil.
So many memories of all of us growing up together and your Mother trying to keep up with us! Such a strong, loving Lady. I cannot recall there being anything she could not do once she set her mind to it. She will be missed greatly.
Love from all.
