James(Jim) Lalyer, 88, passed away at home on February 19, 2025. Jim battled cancer and Alzheimer’s and is finally at peace. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Roberta, two daughters Kathy and Stacy, (Indiana), and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard and daughter Kelly. He was loved by his nieces and nephews.
Jim was a member of the Elks and American Legion.
Jim proudly served his country in the US Navy.
Jim will be missed by many and will be remembered fondly as a kind and loving man.
Jim will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery.
