

She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Penn State and later received a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. She practiced her profession for many years in Naples, FL before moving to Port Charlotte to be a dedicated caregiver for her mother, Eleanor Dirrane who passed away in 2019 at 90 years of age.
Jennifer was a very generous person to family, friends, and those in need. She loved nature, the beach, painting, and summers in New Hampshire. She always had a sympathetic ear and heart for others and always gave very wise advice. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
She is survived by her father, Edward Dirrane, age 89, her step-mother, Patricia Dirrane and two half-brothers, Michael Dirrane and Barry Dirrane (Maya) as well as a niece Ariana Dirrane all living in New York. In addition, she is also survived by a son Philip Morton of Washington, a sister, Stephanie Dirrane (Edward) of Connecticut and many cousins and friends.
