Joe L Gregory -- passed away on August 29, 2023 in Sarasota, Florida. He was born in Wendel, West Virginia on August 10, 1936 to Joe S. and Esta P. Gregory.

He was a graduate of Youngstown State University and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Punta Gorda, Florida.

Joe retired in 1997 as President of Perfection Corporation in Madison, Ohio and also spent 18 years as Vice President of Fluid Controls in Mentor, Ohio. Throughout his career he was actively involved in his Church and numerous civic and professional organizations including The United Way, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Lake County Industrial Management Club and Consumer Credit Counseling of Lake County. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite and Al Koran Shrine. Joe was very proud of his country and felt he truly lived the “American Dream”.

He is survived by his son Scott (Kristin) Gregory of Willoughby, Ohio, daughter Kelly (Doak) Pfaff of Powell, Ohio, sister Virginia (Ralph) Bliven of Palm Harbor Florida, and his pride and joy, granddaughters Kayla and Stephanie Pfaff . He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his wife Marilyn and former wife Norma.

As per his request, services will be private and the family suggests contributions in his memory be made to The Shriner's Hospitals for Children, St. Jude Hospital For Children, or to the Hospice of your choosing.
