

Cliff grew up in Michigan and joined the Army before he turned 18 (parents had to sign off). He did 7 years in the Army with 3 tours in Vietnam, Europe and Korea. He left the service as a E5 Specialist, a Rifle Marksman, and a Medical Field Corpsman. Cliff received a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ DVC, Vietnam Services Medal and 2 Overseas bars. After his service he returned to Detroit to work and spend time with family. Cliff eventually retired to Florida. Cliff was an avid fisherman and card player. He enjoyed the family reunions in Northern Michigan.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, Theresa J. (Baras) Lauzon and Clifford Lauzon SR.; son, James Joseph Lauzon and sister, Terry Ann Lauzon. He is survived by his brothers, Dan (Barb) Lauzon, Gerald (Denise) Lauzon, and John Lauzon; his sister, Lucille (Barry) Knechtel; his daughter, Sabine M. Kavesh; his grandchildren, Curtis Lauzon, Allie Lauzon, Cody Kavesh and Brooke Kavesh; and many nieces and nephews.
Services with Military Honors will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 1pm.
