Linda K Swift (Slatton) of Punta Gorda, Florida and formerly of Bellevue, MI, age 70, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Tidwell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, Florida. Linda was born on April 19, 1950 in Plainwell, MI the daughter of Ben and Pauline (Keeney) Slatton. Linda was a 1968 graduate of Olivet High School and later of Wright’s Beauty Academy in Battle Creek. Linda owned and operated As You Like It Hair Salon in Olivet for many years. She was an active member of the local community and enjoyed spending time with her family. For many years Linda enjoyed helping sell raffle tickets for the Fireman’s Festival in Olivet. After retirement Linda and her husband made their home in Punta Gorda, Florida. Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Doug, sons Troy Vahs of Bellevue and Scott Vahs of Punta Gorda. Grandchildren Samantha (Josh) Brandon and Cody Page, great granddaughter Stella Brandon, brother Jim Slatton of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Following her wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will occur at a later date.
