

Lori graduated from Hazelwood Central High School in 1982 and earned an associate degree from Sanford-Brown in 1983. From 1986 until 2013, she worked for the Ferguson-Florissant School District, serving as Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent.
Dedicated to helping others, Lori volunteered with Meals on Wheels and was active in the Patriot Guard and Phil’s Blue Knights Motorcycle Club, where she served as recording secretary. She generously supported numerous Veterans charities and Honor Flights.
Lori loved riding motorcycles with her husband, Philip, and treasured their trips to the beach. She found joy in simple moments, especially time spent with those she loved most. She loved being around family and friends during the holidays and will be remembered for her generous smile, her devotion to her family and community.
Lori is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Philip Busby; her brother-in-law, Mike Busby, and his wife, Theresa Busby; her daughter, Kelsey Busby, and Kelsey’s husband, Gregory Pollock; her mother, Susan Pardo; her sister, Lynn Fuerst, and Lynn’s children, Danielle Liefer and Kyle; her brother, Steve Pardo, and his wife, Julie Gegg, and their children, Sloan and Nolan; Danielle’s husband, Kris Liefer; her great-niece, Kendall; and her great-nephews, Kolton and Kullen. She was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Pardo; and her in-laws, Penny and James Busby.
Lori was also joyfully looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild.
A celebration of Lori’s life will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, following the birth of her first grandchild. Date, time, and additional details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a veteran’s charity of your choice in Lori’s honor.
