Matt was raised on a farm in Ostrander, Ohio where he enjoyed showing cattle as part of 4-H. He was a 1998 graduate from Buckeye Valley High School. He then attended The Ohio State University and earned a Bachelor of Science - Agricultural Business and Applied Economics Degree with a minor in Animal Science in 2004.
He owned Dysle Construction and enjoyed building decks and finishing basements. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for the Scioto Township Fire Department, before deciding to relocate to Punta Gorda, Florida. He looked forward to his “northern friends” visits, and they did...often.
His time in Florida included working for several hotels, and most recently the Comfort Inn Suites as their Chief Engineer. When working at the Four Points hotel, he was challenged to make a professional volleyball court on the grounds for a Pro Volleyball exhibition. Matt was always up for a challenge and was “that guy” in the neighborhood who would lend a hand. Matt was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and loved to hunt, fish, and golf.
Matt leaves behind his mother, Joni Regula, (Mike Reichert), Delaware, OH, father and stepmother Todd and Paula (Azbell) Dysle, Wimauma, FL, sister Pamela (Nate) Kinzy, Ashville, OH, half-brother Chase (Courtney) Walter, Delaware, OH, two nieces Loralai and Montana Kinzy, and his beloved dog Stormi.
Celebrations of life will be held in Florida on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 4-6 p.m. with a Service at 6:00 p.m. at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda, Florida 33950. A second celebration will be announced soon for early June in Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to your local Red Cross Association in Matt’s name.
