Patti Jones

Patti Jones, long-term resident of Punta Gorda passed away in Port Charlotte, Florida on October 4, 2026. She was born on May 3, 1956, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, and lived a life marked by warmth, style, devotion, and a deep love for the people and simple pleasures that brought her joy.

Patti was the daughter of Peggy and Kenneth Plummer, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Jones; step-children Billy Jones (Stacy) and Jimmy Jones; and her cherished grandchildren, Brandi Jones, Kendra Cox (Caleb), and Amber Jones. She also leaves behind her half-brother, Kenny Plummer; Joseph Becker and Robert “Tooby” Crafts who were like sons to her; as well as her treasured dog, Prissy, who was a constant companion and source of comfort.

Patti attended high school and carried herself throughout life with a practical spirit and a strong sense of home. She devoted herself to being a homemaker and took great pride in creating a welcoming and comfortable place for her family. Her life was centered on the people she loved, and she found meaning in the everyday moments that made a house feel like home.

Those who knew Patti will remember her for her love of shopping and her enjoyment of jewelry, makeup, hair, and the latest fashions. She had a natural appreciation for looking her best and expressing her personality through the way she dressed and presented herself. She enjoyed camping life, and she appreciated the simple pleasure of time spent away from the routine of daily life. She also loved old movies, especially Gunsmoke and westerns.

Patti had a special love for flowers, especially magnolias, and she found beauty in the world around her. Her interests reflected a woman who enjoyed elegance, tradition, and the little things that made life brighter. She will be remembered for her gentle presence, her personal style, and the affection she showed to those closest to her.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Patti’s family and friends will gather to honor her memory and to reflect on the many ways she touched their lives. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and she will be remembered with love, gratitude, and lasting affection.
