Ruth O. DiBene, 79 from Punta Gorda, FL passed away the morning of March 15th 2025. Ruth joined her husband, Eddie DiBene, who predeceased her in November of 2009. Ruth was born in The Bronx, New York in 1945 and relocated to Florida in 1974 with her husband Eddie and 2 children, Carl and Michele.
Ruth was an avid tennis player and had teams in both Naples and Punta Gorda. Often the life of the party, Ruth enjoyed life to the fullest. She was an amazing friend, mother, sister, aunt, wife, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her sister, Janie; her son, Carl and his wife Kristi; Daughter, Michele Belmonte and husband Jeremy; and Nephew, Michael and his wife Johnna.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Anthony, Samantha, Gino, Vito, Jessica, Richie, Dezirae, and Adriana; and great grandchildren, Kylie, Emilia, Nevaeh.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Ruth on April 12, 2025 at 10am at Kays Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home; 635 E Marion, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. A reception to follow at 12:30pm at 1512 Rio De Janeiro, Punta Gorda, 33983.
