

Born on March 1, 1950, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Sam lived a life filled with laughter, friendship, and love. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy Rand; his daughter, Devon Geller; his son, Josh Geller, and daughter-in-law, Sarah Geller; his cherished granddaughter, Violet Geller; his stepchildren, Daniel Giannotti and his wife, Kim, Gus Giannotti and his wife, Kerri, and Lisa Giannotti; and his step-grandchildren, Keira, Piper, Riley, Jamison, and Hope.
For those who knew him, Sam was truly larger than life. He had a gift for bringing joy to everyone he met, leaving people smiling long after their conversations ended. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit made friends wherever he went, and he was deeply loved by family, friends, and countless others whose lives he touched.
Sam especially loved his years in Punta Gorda, Florida, where he embraced the sunshine, the laid-back lifestyle, and every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest. Some of his happiest moments were spent alongside his beloved wife, Cathy, creating memories together and enjoying the life they built. Whether sharing stories, laughing with friends, spending time with family, or simply enjoying each other's company, Sam knew how to make every moment memorable.
His legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the friendships he built, and the love he shared so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
