Betty Louise Hamilton, 88, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2016. She was born in Tacoma on Feb. 1, 1928 to Bertha and Dayton Whitney. Betty is dearly loved and will be missed by her husband of 68 years, Don; her sons, Jim (Sherry), Ron (Kay) and Steve (Cindy); 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family meant everything to Betty, and she is leaving a legacy of love and devotion. The family would like to thank the staff at Sumner Cottage for so compassionately caring for Betty. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. To lovingly honor her there will be a Celebration of Betty’s life on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 1:00 at the Puyallup Eagles, 202 5th St NW.
