Carmen went home August 21, 2010, just shy of her 81st birthday. Born and raised in rural South Dakota, she followed her family to Seattle after her high school graduation where she met her husband Al Bossuyt. She was a wife, mother of 3, grandmother of 9, and great-granny to 8.
Mom opened her home and heart to family, friends and the neighborhood children. She was generous with her love and humor and endured the last years of her life with the help of her strong, Norwegian spirit.
Her children, Janee Taylor, Renee Sinaly and husband Vince, Dan Bossuyt and wife Grace would like to express the gratitude to Becky, Billie and the rest of her Willow Gardens family for their love and concern and also Group Health Hospice, particularly Teri and Robin, for their care and compassion.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 26th from 5-8pm, at Powers Funeral Home, 320 W Pioneer, Puyallup, WA. The funeral mass is scheduled for 1100, Friday, August 27th at St. Andrews Catholic Church at 1401 Valley Avenue E. Sumner, WA.
