Christella Marie Boggs – January 12, 1937 – March 22, 2014. Christella lost her battle with cancer on Saturday morning March 22nd in Puyallup surrounded by family and friends. Christella was a long time resident of Puyallup. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed. She was the mother of 8 children, grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 3, and numerous children to whom she was known as “MaMa Boggs”.
Christella was preceded in death by her son Danny Boggs of Graham. She is survived by her daughters - Cynthia McManus of Tacoma, Shirley Boggs of Puyallup, and Linda Boggs of Tacoma; sons – Harold Boggs Jr. of Federal Way, Jim Boggs of Tacoma, Jerry Boggs of Puyallup, and Robby Payne of Houston. Services will be held at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup on Wednesday April 2nd at 11 am. Burial will be held at Sumner City Cemetery.
