Garth Troy Wilhelm Garth Wilhelm passed away on July 26, 2013 in Milton after a 5-year battle with leukemia. He was born on Jan. 8, 1963 in Tacoma. Garth graduated from Fife High School in 1981, and went straight to work as a Longshoreman at the Port of Tacoma, where he worked for 30 years. He enjoyed boating, and was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents Fred and Helen, his brother Gary, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Garth loved life and was always smiling. The funeral service will be held Thurs., Aug. 1, at 11:00 am, at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup, WA. The graveside service will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn at 2:00 pm.
