Gladys Vivian Johnson

Gladys Vivian Johnson, age 93, of Puyallup passed away on August 28, 2014. Born on June 29, 1921, in Castle Rock, South Dakota, she met and married Gilman Johnson while in Minnesota. A passionate gardener, when they moved to Puyallup she worked for Matlock Farms for over 20 years. Mom was preceded in death by Dad and her grandson, Kevin Crossland. She is survived by her sons, James (Linda) Johnson and Darrel (Linda) Johnson and daughter, Darlene (Mel) Crossland, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will be on Friday, September 5th from 4:00-6:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup. Graveside services will be at Woodbine Cemetery on Saturday, September 6 at 10:30 am. We would like to thank the staff at Emeritus for the care you gave our mom over the past 5 years. Mom was passionate about her gardening and her family, both of whom flourished in her love.
