

Hannah Fredaberg (Johnson) Flesche, age 92, passed away Sunday, May 10th, 2015. She was born on January 5th, 1923 to a farmer in McPherson County, Kansas and was the youngest of 11 children. Her mother passed away when she was just an infant so she lived with her cousins who she loved very much. Hannah graduated from McPherson High School in Kansas in 1940. She attended Kansas Wesleyan University and Bethany-Peniel College in Oklahoma. Hannah was married to Cpl. Gerald Flesche on December 20th, 1950 in Salina, KS. Military assignments brought them to reside in Texas, Germany, and then finally, Tacoma, WA. Hannah is survived by one sister, Amanda Anderson; Gerald, her loving husband of 64 years; three daughters, Judith Kincaid, Patricia Rehwinkel and Susan Porterfield; four grandchildren; as well as four great-grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family. Her passions were playing piano & organ, sewing, and especially her faith in God. A celebration of her life will be held at Powers Funeral Home located at 320 W. Pioneer Ave., Puyallup, WA at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 30th.
