Kimberlee Jo Medlock, age 54, returned home to her Heavenly Father on April 29, 2015, after a valiant fight against ovarian cancer. Born April 25, 1961 in Seattle, WA, she grew up in Renton, WA and attended Lindbergh High School. She graduated from Ricks College (Idaho) in 1981 with a degree in Clothing and Textiles. Prior to graduating, Kim met her future husband Ron and they married on March 12,1983 in Bend, OR. Together they had six beautiful children. Being a mother was Kim’s passion in life; she took great pride and joy in fulfilling this role. In addition to nurturing her family, Kim provided invaluable assistance to Ron in their tax accounting business, and was known for her sewing and quilting talents. She could often be found up late into the morning hours prior to school and church events crafting alterations for the dresses of others, or finishing a quilt for a newborn. Kim was a beloved primary teacher at church, and loved animals, with a special fondness for pug dogs, horses and hummingbirds. She found her life’s riches in her relationships and service to others. Her warm smile and hugs will be forever missed.
Kim is survived by her husband, Ronald Medlock; her children, Victoria, Donaldson, Bradley, Camilla, Gregory, and Scott; and her sisters, Shari Carnahan and Tamara Johnson. Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Sharon and Donaldson Carnahan.
