Lynn Marie Brecht

Lynn Marie Brecht (Downing), Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Daughter-in-law passed away Friday, August 10, 2012, after complications from pancreatic cancer. Her earthly suffering has ended and she now resides in Heaven. Lynn is survived by her husband of 46 years, David Brecht, her sister, April Ericksen (Downing), her two children Marie Wilson (Brecht) and David Brecht Jr., her mother-in-law Eleanore Brecht and 6 grandchildren. Lynn will be fondly remembered by her family as being involved in church minisries with her husband, as a prodigious seamstress, a great reader of science fiction, a connoisseur of Chinese food, and a thrifty shopper extraordinaire. Lynn was generous with her family and enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners. She enjoyed rips to the ocean with her husband and family where she flew kites and worked on needlepoint. She also enjoyed bargain shopping at thrift stores, purchasing furniture for family when she found a good price. Financial contributions can be made to All Saints Food Bank.
