

Born August 23, 1930 in San Diego, California and passed away December 5, 2012 in Puyallup, Washington. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked as a longshoreman for 37 years retiring from Tacoma Local 23. Richard loved gardening and growing flowers. He also enjoyed metal detecting, collecting antique bottles and old radios. He is survived by his wife Sonja of 50 years, son Michael and daughter -in-law Mary, grandchildren: Nicholas, Natalie and Anthony. Daughter; Monica Flores and grandchildren: Kelsey and Krystl. A Celebration Of Life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday December 15th, at Living Hope Church 11618 122nd Street East in Puyallup. Private committal services will be at Tahoma National Cemetery.
