Cousin Bert, I always admired you along with my other older cousins, there are too many to mention. Being the youngest I mostly observed in your antics and heard the stories. We had so many wonderful celebrations at the grange halls and Moxee's Holy Rosary gymnasium where we all ate, drank and made merry so many times. 
Most of all I remember when you aided me in my first consolidation of bills of house car and credit cards into one easy payment at the credit union. You were my Hero. I look forward to a Heavenly reunion one day where time stands still, there is no pain, worries or distance between us. I Love all my family!

We will miss this old boy. I remember when we all played at Grandma Sherry's in her back yard. snitching green grapes, goose berries and such. In those days Bert could get his laughs from calling me deedee dirty diaper troubles. Well now I will have to wait until I get to heaven to hear him say those words again. Will miss him but praying for strength for the whole family. Love you all. I look forward seeing him again. And though we miss him he is in good company.

We will miss you. You were a Great Boss.  You made us feel like one Big Happy Family. Thank you for all the laughs and for caring about all our families.

Uncle Bert and my god father, i have a life time to remember the holidays and the camping trips that we all shared, but none of that will compare to the happiness you brought to all of us  and to all of those that knew you, thank you for all you, did and thank you for being the man you were. Although as an adult I lost track of Uncle Bert and Aunt Carol, I have TONS of fabulous memories of him and his family from my childhood and pre-adulthood! Babysitting, camping, holidays, his laugh and sly smile... I will miss him and hold these memories close to my heart... My love to you Aunt Carol, Vicki and Phillip! XO

While it's been quite a while since I've seen my Uncle Bert, I remember him as a big man that smiled easily and love to laugh. I'll miss you, Uncle Bert. Love you always. Aline

Bert and I graduated from St Paul Grade School.  We enlisted in the US Air Force in 1960.  After our enlistment ended, we returned to Yakima only to move away. I wish we could have stayed in touch. He was a good friend.

Bert gave me my first job at Credit Union of Puget Sound. I will always remember his funny jokes and great sense of humor. You will be missed by many!

Bert was a good boss I always enjoyed working wth him. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Bert was my connection to home and family way back when I was a homesick sailor and he was a loan officer in Dallas Texas.  We also enjoyed his company in our circle of friends and family during the years we lived in Yakima while I was going to college.  We will miss him. Carol: You and the family are in our prayers.

Our Brother Bert found himself being the male authority in our household when we were all very young. He retained that role of advocate, adviser, and admonsher with us younger siblings. We ALL admire him, We thank him, We MISS him. WE LOVE him.

We are sad to hear of your loss. Bert was a good friend and we had some great times. He will continue to be in our thoughts. Let the good times be your comfort.

Bert was one of the finest men I ever knew.
