

Shirley Therrien, 88, of Graham, passed away on May 6, 2015 in Olympia, WA. She was born on Dec. 29, 1926 in Olympia to Charlie and Pearl (Autrey) Pease. After graduating from Cleveland High in Seattle she worked at the Ft Lewis Officer’s Club waiting tables. As a young mother she was a newspaper carrier for the TriCity Herald, worked for Boeing in Renton and for many years she was a case worker and supervisor at DSHS. Mom often worked second jobs such as cleaning homes, waitressing and being a realtor. She is survived by her sons, David (Jodi) and Dan (Rosa); daughters, Jan (Renard) and Tammy; stepchildren, Elizabeth, Ginger, Dawnie, Harry and Annie; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry, sisters, Carmen Piesik and Beulah May, brother, Paul and son in law Ron Drake. There will be a Celebration of Her Life on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 1:00 at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup.
