Tippy Latham

Sylva J. “Tippy” Latham, 80, of Puyallup, passed away on July 9, 2015. She was born on Oct. 14, 1934 in Darrington, WA to Joseph and Sylvia Hollingsworth. After graduating from Darrington High she met and married her husband of 54 years, L. Wayne Latham. She worked as a LPN for 23 years. When not working she enjoyed crossword puzzles, baking and spending time with us, her family. She is survived by her husband, L. Wayne Latham; daughters, Patti Latham and Suzie (Shawn) Bennett; twin sister, Iva “Toppy” (Leroy) Brigge; and grandchildren Chantal and Anthony Califano. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Calvin. There will be a Celebration of Her Life on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Noon at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup, WA. Mom was a wonderful person, she is loved and will be missed by many.
