

Vivien Frank, 90, of Puyallup passed away on Aug. 30, 2015. Viv was born on July 5, 1925 in Taylor, N.D. to Joseph and Bertha (Kuhn) Frank. After serving in the Army during WWII, Dad met and married Carol (Zentner) Frank in Billings, MT. While there he was the foreman at Sweetheart Bakery. They came to Puyallup where he worked as a carpenter and mill worker. In retirement Viv collected Chevy Corvairs, enjoyed fishing and camping. One of his favorite events to attend was Oktoberfest at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Randy and brothers, Frank and Ed. He is survived by his son, Steve (Angela) Frank; daughters, Vicki Henke and Diane Taylor; siblings, Joseph Frank and Caroline Heafner; grandchildren, Andrea Thomson, Kayla Henke, Kelli Taylor, Ryan Frank and Stefanie Lamboy; 9 great grandchildren and friend Joe Henke. He enjoyed his mornings with his coffee buddies. There will be a time of visitation on Tuesday, Sept.8, 2015 from 9:30 until the Celebration of his Life at 11:00, both at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup. He will be interred at Sumner City Cemetery. Dad was a special man who will be missed by many.
